Spring Fling Fundraising Takeout Meal

Pick up is at Chef Hosch & Ann’s Carriage House at 414 Walnut Street in Williamsport.

Pickup time 5:00pm-6:00pm

Join us for a delightful opportunity to enjoy a takeout meal of fine dining on your terms.  Treat yourself to a delicious meal, invite family and friends to join you inside or outside at your home, delight your neighbors by dropping off dinner, head out for a picnic, or create another option to have a fabulous evening.

Not only will you enjoy fine dining, but your order and any additional donation lay the foundation for Thrive to continue to offer ESL classes & basic immigration legal services in our region throughout 2021.

Menu

Each meal prepared by Chef Hosch includes a generous portion of lomo saltano.  A vegetarian option substituting firm tofu will also be available.  We were first attracted to the dish because of the fusion of traditional Peruvian, Chinese, and Spanish influences.  Then we tried it and had to go back for more because of the taste.

Lomo saltano features marinated strips of steak stir fried with onion, tomatoes, peppers, and soy sauce served over fried potatoes with rice.

A traditional Peruvian drink, chicha morado, from a recipe shared by two beloved community members and made by Thrive is included with each meal as well as a famous cookie from Sarah Pinckney to finish off the meal.

The deadline for orders is April 14, 2021.  We encourage all guests to order online.  If this is not possible for you, please call us at 570-337-2898.

If you are unable to attend the takeout meal or would like to make a special tax-deductible donation to partner with us in Thrive’s ability to serve the community in the coming year, we invite you to consider an extra donation.  These donations are especially critical in 2021 as our Spring Fling Fundraiser is replacing Thrive’s banquet, one of our key fundraisers for the year, due to Covid-19.
