Fall Fling Fundraising Takeout

Food is prepared by Chef Hosch.

Pick up is at Chef Hosch & Ann’s Carriage House at 414 Walnut Street in Williamsport.

Pickup time 5:00pm-6:00pm

Join us for a delightful opportunity to enjoy a takeout meal of fine dining on your terms.  Treat yourself to a delicious meal, invite family and friends to join you inside or outside at your home, delight your neighbors by dropping off dinner, head out for a picnic, or create another option to have a fabulous evening.

Not only will you enjoy fine dining, but your order and any additional donation lay the foundation for Thrive to continue to offer ESL classes, basic immigration legal services, the Language Café, and Spanish classes in our region in the coming year.


Each Indian-inspired meal prepared by Chef Hosch includes generous portions of the following:

Butter chicken is an entree made with skinless, boneless chicken in a rich buttery curry sauce.

Dahl Makhani is a combination of lentils and kidney beans in a creamy tomato sauce lightly seasoned with curry and cumin

Saag is a very lightly spiced vegetable made with cooked spinach and mustard greens with cumin, tumeric and coriander

Naan is an Indian traditional flat bread

A vegetarian option will be available with tofu instead of chicken.  A traditional Indian drink specially prepared by Shivi & Thrive is included with each meal.  Delightful desserts will be in cluded in each meal from Sarah Pinckney.


The deadline for orders was September 17th at 9am.  If you were not able to order for this year, we invite you to watch for information about our monthly Comfort Food from Around the World takeout meals or our special spring event.


If you are unable to attend the takeout meal or would like to make an special tax-deductible donation to partner with us in Thrive’s ability to serve the community in the coming year, we invite you to consider an extra donation.  These donations are especially critical in 2020 as our Fall Fling Fundraiser is replacing Thrive’s banquet, one of our key fundraisers for the year, due to Covid-19.
